The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Tundra

This gallery contains world art that I created while working at Bethesda Game Studios on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, initially released in 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. My responsibility as a World Artist was to take large empty areas of the map, sculpt height map, place every mountain, rock, tree, blade of grass and prop by hand, as well as some creature and VFX placement. I was also responsible for blending terrain materials and creating AI nav mesh, all in BGS proprietary Creation Engine. This is another area of the map I worked on, a valley of tundra that blends into the snowy region around Blizzard Rest, Weynon Stones and Korvanjund.
